Miss Isa

Isa was tagged by Olivia to share 10 random things about herself. Here is what she came up with.

1. I don't eat to live, I live to eat. I LOVE deli ham and cannot shove it in my mouth fast enough. Also, I love eggs and can eat two scrambled eggs, a banana, and a thing of yogart in the time that my brother Ben eats two bites of his egg. I love fruit. However, I HATE vegetables. All of them. Period.

2. My favorite toy is the fridge farm. I like to bounce up and down and show off my moves to Old MacDonald.

3. Since I have been home I have learned to sign 'more' and I sign it from the minute I wake up. (remember I love to eat). I have also learned 'please' in sign language and my favorite new thing is blowing kisses.

4. I blow kisses when I am in trouble. Every time mama or daddy tells me 'no', I just blow them a kiss and expect them to let it slide.

5. I refer to everything as 'daddy'. I point to myself, mama, brother ben, our dog, and daddy and call them all 'daddy'.

6. I am a daddy's girl. My favorite time of the day is when daddy gets home from work. He is the only one who can really get me laughing. Mama can make me smile but Daddy knows how to get giggles out of me.

7. My knick name right now is 'miss grabby' because I grab everything out of brother Ben's hands. If he has it, I want it. And yes I will put it straight in my mouth which makes him really irritated with me.

8. I have gained one pound since arriving home and my legs and belly are getting really chubby and cute.

9. I like to poke my baby brother, Sam, in the head and throw books at him (all in love, people!) and mama has to tell me to 'be gentle' a hundred times a day.

10. I have no depth perception. Every time I turn the corner around the couch, I run straight into it and fall down. I am super tough though and nothing really ever phases me. I just hop up and run into the corner again.

No Clothes=Happy Kids

Benjamin and Isa love sprinting around the house in their undies/diaper before their bath. We laugh at how different they are built. Benjamin is getting so tall and skinny and Isa is our little body builder.

Happy Easter

Isa is waving with both hands at my brother behind the camera. After church, we only had energy for one picture so this is what we got. (And getting three children ready for church is much different than getting one ready so we made it to church with one minute to spare so no time for a photo before we left. )

Ring Bearer

Benjamin was the ring bearer in a wedding today. He immediately started dancing when we put his tux on. I did not even ask him to sit like this. I told him to stand in front of the window so I could get his picture and this is what he did. Ha. Not sure where he saw someone posing like this.

No meltdown but he did crash on my shoulder halfway through the ceremony and wasn't able to walk out with the flower girl.

Pure Joy

It has been such a joy to watch Isa come out of her shell. Though she is still extremely busy and is our little wrecking ball, she is settling in so well and beginning to trust us enough to relax in our arms, sit on our laps, and clap when she sees us. She is more beautiful than my darn camera can capture. And Samuel, what a precious little peanut. He is such a sweet little baby and sleeps all of the time. He melts my heart.
Benjamin is adjusting amazingly well to his two new siblings. He definitely has his moments of wanting life to return to as it was before two little people invaded his territory but overall he is doing really well. He thinks Isa's jabbering and her clumsiness are hilarious and I love to watch him giggle at her. This morning was rough and he told me multiple times that I was 'his mama'. Soon he won't remember life without them.

Babies and Quilts

Drew's mom, Nana, made a quilt for Eloisa and Samuel. It took Drew making a fool out of himself behind me to get Isa to sit on the quilt for a picture. (Our daughter is like a bull in a china shop. She never watches where she is walking, trips over everything and nothing, and falls down so many times a day it is hysterical. It doesn't ever phase her. She just pops up and keeps going.)

Help with Adoption Dates

Adoptive Moms, help me out. I am trying to figure out for Isa's adoption announcements and Lifebook what is officially 'Gotcha Day' and 'Forever Family Day'. Are those the same dates? I think her official date of adoption is when the adoption decree was signed (Jan 24?) or no? I am confused. If any of you can clarify for me, that would be great!

Introducing Samuel Jacob!

Drew here...home with good news (Bekah's mom is at the hospital with her for the night while I tend to Ben and Isa). Samuel Jacob Moser was born today, 1:09pm. 6lb.15oz, 19 1/4 in. long. He's a cutie! Bekah and Sam are doing great!

GORGEOUS Day

Thank you, Jesus, for some relief from the bitter winter! It was in the 50s and sunny here today (I know...heat wave!) and Benjamin was ECSTATIC to be outside. He ran circles in the driveway...didn't play with any toys, just ran and ran.

The end of the world as we know it...

We are spending our last weekend together as our little family of three. Crazy. We are trying to get Benjamin as excited as possible about Isa and the baby's arrival. He is very excited to make eggs for sister Isa.

Benjamin can't leave Isa's and the baby's stuffed animals alone. He knows whose are whose so we'll see if he actually gives them to his siblings when they arrive.

Drew and I left Benjamin with Grandma Pam last night and went out on the last date that we will have in a long time...until we are confident Isa is totally attached. Benjamin was not interested in getting a picture with us before we left.

37 and 1/2 weeks down....? to go. Don't be in any rush, baby, to beat your big sister home.
