Moser Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with Drew's family yesterday. It was quite different from last year. Much louder. Drew's parents went from one to four grandchildren in a year. Big year. Lots of blessings.

Travis headed up making tamales for what hopefully will become an annual tradition in honor of Miss Eloisa Joy. During Christmas holidays, tamales of corn flour are a special treat for Guatemalans.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas dear friends and family! We asked Benjamin this morning where Jesus lives and he said, "A barn." Us: That's where he was born but where does he live now? Rychener Family Christmas

Josh, Janelle, Johanan and Sofia: You were MISSED! We wouldn't have fit around the dining room table for dinner but we wish you could have joined us!As always, no need to buy the babies anything for Christmas. Sam is perfectly content chewing on a box.

Benjamin was thrilled with his Donald Duck from Uncle Matt and Aunt Julie. Pretty soon there is not going to be room in Benjamin's bed for him to sleep. The stuffed animals are slowly taking over.

Prayers Needed

We have been praying for Abby, beautiful daughter from Guatemala of Brent and Michelle Riggs, for a few months now.  She has Leukemia and is in the fight for her life.  My heart is so heavy for them this week.  Please pray the Lord would heal her precious little body, that he would give her the strength she needs to endure chemo, and that he would continue to cover her family with peace and joy throughout this battle.

Almost out of Christmas Cheer

I made Christmas cut out cookies with Benjamin and Isa this morning, made colored frosting with them this afternoon, and then Jackson came over tonight to help decorate and that is why I am almost out of Christmas cheer. :) Decorating was fun (no melt downs during the frosting fun) but the perfectionist in Benjamin makes things difficult at times (like when he can't get the cookie out of the cookie cutter and breaks off Santa's boots, the flame on the candle, the snowman's head, etc.).

Isa is so opposite of Benjamin it makes me laugh out loud at times. She is the furthest thing from a perfectionist which is very refreshing at times.

Daddy, we are saving this cookie for you. Mmmmm. :)

Grandma Ruth gave Isa this scarf. She looks so adorable in it.

Shopping and lunch at Panera with good friends. I miss these ladies so much.

As always, Samuel got to come along and entertain us. Cindy (prego one on the left in the picture above) said at the end of our day together, "If my baby isn't sweet like Sam, can we trade?")

We have spent most of our week painting, drawing or coloring at Gramma Pam's kitchen table .

Benjamin found this wig in the closet and called daddy on Skype giggling hysterically.
