Groundbreaking for the new Campus Center. The girls hung in the back with the cow for most of the service.
Date with my baby girl.
Stella has been drawing her way through a journal my mom got her. She held this up and said, "This is a picture of Aunt Sara running to me and giving me a hug when I fly to heaven." You better believe she is going to run to you, Stella.
Isa taking pictures with my phone. She got him out of his bouncer seat and cuddled up with Stella. I'm glad he is sturdy because they carry him around constantly.
Sharing stories.
I think William is supposed to be a pirate or a farmer or a prince. I forget what they were pretending this day.
Sunday School. We have loved the new Children's Pastor at Exit 59.
Soaking up a napping baby. He doesn't fall asleep on me very often but when he does....
Willow Tree Children.
Drew cleaned up the basketball pole and built an old school wooden backboard for it. It looks great!
Enjoying Spring.
Teacher appreciation week.
We (and by we I mean my sister-in-law, Julie) booked a trip to Disney, y'all! The Moser Family's Incredible Vacation book came in the mail and our children flipped out.
For Mother's Day, Drew put a weed barrier and mulch down in our swing set area. See ya later stinking thistles, creeping charlie and dandelions. You have consumed waaaaay too much of my time the past three years.
Tim and Kristi were in Indiana a couple of weeks ago. We hadn't spent good couple to couple time with them in way too long. It was so refreshing and encouraging! The kids loved reconnecting with them. They love our kids so well even from a long distance but it was nice for the kids to make some memories with them.
Our small group hasn't gone out together since Stella was William's age. We went to Mass Ave. last Saturday and had a great time together. We waited two and a half hours to eat at Bru Burger (rain eliminated the outdoor seating which extended our wait over an hour) which was insane so we had all of our drinks, coffee and ice cream before dinner.
Sam was home for a mental health day last Monday and the girls had a blast with him. It was a warm day and the rain came hard and fast on and off all day. They spent most of the day jumping on the trampoline with their heads held up to the sky and their tongues out.
Safety First.
Our Saturday games were rained out so Drew and I lined up childcare in 10 minutes (thank you Jess and Gwen!) and ran to Muncie for an anniversary date. Chick fil a...yes we are fancy.
Then we swung by Wasson's Nursery on the way home to pick out something to plant for our anniversary. We got a Japanese Willow which will get about 6 ft tall and 6 ft wide to fill in where we have ripped out huge bushes we didn't like. It has white and pink leaves and I love it. Our Lovetree. Ha. We planted it in the pouring rain when we got home because we don't wait to do anything.
We had 3NE over for our final get together of the year. Sam was helping with the fire and hated the smoke in his eyes. He left and came back with these ski goggles from the dress up bin. Cracked me up.
Wow. All caught up. Bedtime.
